A typical day at work consists of lots of phone calls and emails, fun to be had with coworkers, and stacks of paperwork to be gone through and entered. This company was a lot more laid back when I first started but since has gone through a couple restructures and become overly micro-managed which in turn has lead to some serious decrease in morale. Some of the management still knows how to balance fun and work while others are stone cold. The hardest part of the job is being able to balance your home life and your work life- it's easy to get wrapped up in your work. The most enjoyable part of the job is being able to be yourself at work and have fun with coworkers while also maintaining professionalism. I've been fortunate enough to move up in the company since I have been there, and had the opportunity to continue learning. The ownership is in house and they are some of the best people I've had the chance to work for.
