Golf Bag Room Attendant, Bronxville, NY - November 15, 2017
This job was good. Since this was my first job I did get nervous. But then I got into the flow of things. What I realized was that there is an importance of paying attention to detail. They wanted things to get done accordingly in order for things to run smoothly. I was Bagroom attendant so I had to make sure that a certain portion of the fields had to be cleared of golf balls. Management was decent but getting a hold of the manager was the hardest part at times. There was the supervisor then there was the Manager. The workplace culture was centered on golf. Since I did not know much about golf it was slightly harder for me to get the gist of the job but eventually I got to understanding what I had to do. The most enjoyable part of the job was picking up the golf balls. Most likely I was alone so I found it therapeutic to pick up the golf balls for some odd reason.
