Duties and Responsibilities:

Six Red Marbles is a next generation learning company. We create interactive learning programs for schools, publishers, universities, foundations, and technology companies. During the past twenty years, we have developed thousands of programs across every discipline and age range from early childhood to higher education and workforce training. We are dedicated to unleashing kids' natural desire and ability to learn--so they can reach their full potential and make the world a better place. We pursue this mission by applying our proprietary Natural Learning ™ approach to our product development work. Our approach and principles put the learner in control, personalize the experience, and male learning relevant.

At Six Red Marbles, the Sales and Marketing Manager is charged with moving our vision forward! The Manager will be responsible for pursuing sales leads, connecting with new clients and hosting webinars. The Manager will work closely with the Senior VP of Sales and other members of the SRM executive team.

Specific duties:
Tradeshows – Acts as central contact including registration, proposals for presentations, promotions, events planned; keepupdated schedule and expenses.
Marketing Collateral – Uses internal tools to create sales and marketing fliers, sell sheets and promotions as requested.
Social media marketing - Consistently connects with schools, publishers and other stakeholders via various social media outlets.
Identifies district initiatives for us to prospect.
Makes follow up calls and sends follow up emails from leads from tradeshows/events and sales meetings; tracks all in salesforce.com.
Makes targeted cold and warm calls to set up prospective meetings.
Creates pipeline reports and tracks sales activity.
Performs sales webinars to identify potential opportunities

Basic Qualifications:
3-4 years of direct sales/marketing experience--in the education industry preferred.
Familiarity with the K-12 market.
In-school teacher/administration experience a plus.
The ideal candidate must have exceptional interpersonal skills and a proven record of working collaboratively with a wide range of constituents. Though a self starter, the candidate must be able to work as part of a larger team and to balance interests and needs of a variety of stakeholders.

Additional Qualification:
Experience in salesforce.com and Adobe Creative Suite a plus.
