Perform routine installation and configuration of internal and external peripheral components. Troubleshoot and configure the systems for the network communication. Responsible for ensuring critical security patches and software application updates are current and loaded on all SARSS workstations, SARSS server, and float boxes, ensuring suspense’s are met Logistics Systems Integrator. Execute daily close out reports and create system file backup. During a system failure, load backup through recovery procedures. Process requisitions (manually, automated w/disk or FTP Process); process Turn-In and receipt transactions, process requests for issue inquiries into document history and catalog builds (using FEDLOG system to find characteristics of item for processing in SARSS system). Coordinate with depot personnel representatives and item managers, with researching and requesting high priority requisitions. Prepare paperwork for customer disposition of excess to be turned in to Defense Reutilization Marketing Office (DRMO). Coordinate with DRMO on procedures and policies for Turn In.
