To continue our tradition of service and team work, we seek an Account Executive to be based in our Fairfield location.
Key responsibility is to build a portfolio of business by researching and reaching out to prospective clients via telephone cold calls selling truckload brokerage. Position will also act as a liaison to carriers, shippers and receivers; and developing solid relationships with all parties by providing world class customer service; and resolving issues which might arise quickly and professionally; and will manage the movement of client’s goods from on time pickup through transport and delivery. Other key responsibilities are meeting quarterly and annual sales goals for the role; daily cold calling new customers; accepting customer orders via phone, email or fax; processing/planning/completing all orders within our dispatch/logistic trucking software; processing paperwork for support brokerage loads; communicating with customers to ensure customer satisfaction; resolving/managing problem orders; and maintaining high integrity by honoring commitments and the values of LeSaint.
Qualifications include a minimum 2 – 3 years experience in selling truckload brokerage; or equivalent combination of college education and experience; possess English written and verbal communications skills; and possess service, team, problem solving, presentation, organization, and computer, math, analytical, and people skills. Must also possess the ability to read, analyze and interpret common transportation information and data. Candidates can not be currently operating under a prior employer’s non-compete contract.
