Re- evaluate the companies ethics, from the CEO and owners to operations managers and managers, Human Resources, Payroll, and Leads. Techs are your bread and butter, so stop treating them like dirt.

The answer depends on who your manager is. Blade techs may get treated better than service techs. Service tech treatment depends on the manager you are placed under. I don't want to say they're all terrible, because I've worked under a good manager, but I mostly worked under an abusive inept manager and he's not going anywhere.
Mind your P's and Q's. Have witnesses, document everything, expect to be in the hot seat and have to defend every action and decision. The best advice I ever got was from an instructor when I first started my career with a different company. He said to do everything in our power to protect ourselves by writing everything down even if it seemed inconsequential and to expect we would be held at fault. That advice has proven true across the board.

Reduce the stress by training management to be leaders.
Give us better control over our assignments, let us work closer to home if assignments are available in that area.
Give us paid vacation in addition to R&R we can actually use.
Develope some consistency and compassion for your "grunts" and you might get loyalty in return instead of exodus.

We have no sick leave. If you do get sick, will have to turn in a doctors note regardless of if you have a major illness or a bad cold.

Poor and sometimes dangerous. Techs are made to feel like their jobs are constantly in jeopardy. We take verbal abuse. We are forced to work in unsafe conditions.
