Will they hire deaf people to do some of the jobs at the airlines here in Crescent City?

Hi I was wondering if there was anybody that has been through the hiring process of a ramp agent for skywest or something similar that might be able to give me a clue if I got denied. I was selected to be interviewed one on one at the group interview, and filled out this background check paper and did the interview and they said they were going to call back monday to let me know if they were going to hire me. I still havent recieved a call, its now almost a week later, although my application status on the website still says its being reviewed. Just wondering has this happened to anyone else? or do you think this means Im not getting hired or if maybe they still need time?
