Pros: fast growth
Cons: lack of structure
Slalom is shaking up consulting with its local model. Consultants have the ability to work where they live. That's a big advantage over the other Big 4 consulting companies

BUSINESS MANAGER, (Former Employee), Seattle, WAApril 13, 2014
Account Manager didn't follow up to see how project was going until a month into project.

Client was very hands off as well. No direction on new business process or methods.

Productive & Fun Workplace
Technology Consultant (Current Employee), New York, NYMarch 24, 2014
Typical Consulting minus the bureaucracy to that extent. I wouldn't say it's not there but not as bad as the Big 4.

However they have to sill improve their compensation/Benefits to attract & retain top talent.

At this company I had a lot of duties as I was tacked and owned building up a new PMO. The work was challenging but rewarding.
