  I am a former employee of Sleepy's and within 3 months of working there my position as a store assistant was eliminated and the friend who got me the job his position as a sales assistant was also eliminated, they decided to eliminate all of the hourly positions and keep only commission positions. My take on this is so they company no longer has to pay anything out of pocket to have people work for them as the commission employees are paid based on draw if they make no commission sales, which means that as soon as they make a commission sale, Sleepy's takes that money back. Sleepy's is now opening 2 new store within 30 minutes of me, however they cannot afford to keep me or thousands of other American's employed, by eliminating our positions, Sleepy's is not one of the best companies to work for, Sleepy's is not interested in helping the huge unemployment numbers that we are facing in this current economy, they have hurt worse than they have helped.
