Location: Fremont, CA
Work with online customers to sell surplus, returned goods, obsolete and overstock merchandise via the internet. The Online/Internet Sales Representative is responsible for writing descriptions for merchandise, posting merchandise on the web, managing inquiries, demonstrations and selling products. You will be measured and earn commissions based on new business and attaining sales targets for online sales. Help develop and implement suitable internet marketing strategy for products and solutions.
Performance is evaluated on finding low cost source merchandise that can be sold for profit.
Monitor bids and sales of products online with strong customer service skills
Explain and write technical topics to non-technical people
Strong knowledge of the internet, eBay, MS Outlook, Word, Excel, Outlook etc.
Excellent computer skills including knowledge of software and internet browsing
Strong organizational, multi-tasking, verbal and written communication and teamwork skills
Develop and maintain SEO plans, internet marketing and coordinate team implementation
Knowledge, interest and experience with electronics is a plus
High School or GED, with additional technical/electronics course work preferred
2+ years online merchandising, direct marketing and web experience preferred
General knowledge and interest in the function and applications of electronics and technology
Understanding of Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
Experience with Social Media strategy development is a plus
