Youth Soccer Instructors Needed for Children Ages 2-8
Soccer Shots is a program that introduces soccer to children ages 2-8 at preschools and day care centers all over the area. We are currently expanding and need a few great instructors to help us run some sessions at a few of our centers.
This is a part time and seasonal position and can be somewhat flexible, depending on your schedule.
The classes are during the week, typically in the morning before 10:00 or in the afternoon after 2:00. Each class is 30 to 40 minutes long. We provide training, equipment, and all curriculum materials. We pay $18 for each session you run. At some centers, there will be multiple classes, meaning you could run 2 or even 3 classes in a row. This would double or triple your pay.
The ideal instructor meets the following criteria:
Responsible – arrives on time to each session, can handle a group of 10 or more children, keeps accurate attendance, communicates well with Soccer Shots director, etc.
Professional – neat in appearance, friendly and courteous with day care center staff and director, self assured
Enthusiastic – Must enjoy young kids, be able to connect with kids ages 2-8, must make the Soccer Shots class the best 30 minutes of their week, etc.
Soccer – no official soccer experience is required. However, having some familiarity with the game either as a player or coach will be helpful
In addition to the above, a successful candidate must pass a Child Abuse History Clearance and Background Check.
We are currently seeking applicants for our upcoming spring season. If you meet the criteria listed above and have further interest in a position, please email us with your information and related experience or attach a resume.
