SPE is above average as an employer.
Technical Programs Manager (Former Employee) – Richardson, TX – August 18, 2015
SPE tended to not promote from within, but to undervalue existing culture and experience by bringing in people from the outside to supervise programs about which they knew very little and people for whom they showed little respect.
A typical day at work was either planning for, preparing for, traveling to, or finalizing a meeting. I learned time management beyond anything else. Management of SPE was, for the most part, well-meaning. Co-workers were all hard-working and dedicated to their jobs. The hardest part of the job, personally, became the travel. Paradoxically, one enjoyable part of the job was traveling to different places and experiencing different cultures. The most enjoyable part of the job was seeing a project through from its inception to completion.
Qualities and abilities of those with whom I worked.
Knowing that not everyone could be satisfied.
