That's too bad. And all so sad. Hubby and I are thinking of moving to Canada now that the latest prime minister has made doing so do Americans beyond affordable. Try to look up...there's always an option in every situation. Always. God bless all.
Depends on what your job title is. If you are first line - people on the phones and personal/student loan reviewers - your experience will be drastically different (worse) than say a mortgage underwriter or department director (better). Despite the hype at the top, front liners will probably find the culture similar to that of other lending call center jobs - a stratified culture where you're at the bottom and the camaraderie you build between people struggling in your same position is truly the only manifesting culture you experience on a day to day basis.
The culture is one of fantasy at first then reality sets in and the unbelievable demands and pressures hit you.
