Pros: Love the product and has a great work environment

Great learning experience for someone looking to branch into many types of merchandise. They carry everything from fashion to home furnishings and top of the line skin care.

Pros: Employees and Managers
Cons: Benefits and Compensation
Managers and shift managers are great. Most of the employees are enjoyable to be around. But there is absolutely no room for advancement.

Customer Service & Support Representative (Former Employee), St. Louis, MOApril 24, 2015
Pros: weekly checks
Cons: management isnt empathetic
. With any job you have your ups and downs. Management promotes a soft experience for the customer however they are hard on the employees. The turn over rate is ridiculous. There attendance point system is ridiculous and unfair. The clothing and furniture is over priced and not of good quality. Some of the supervisors try and micomanage you which causes uneeded stress. Several perks were to my advantage as a employee clothing &

68% turnover rate, they only hire to find an excuse to fire.
Call Center Customer Service Representative (Former Employee), Creve Coeur, MODecember 5, 2014
Pros: you can leave for lunch.
Cons: management, rude customers, easy write ups, point system is a set up to fail, the entire company system set up to fail.
This company will give you a chance to learn new things on the computer & also teach you skills you can use towards future positions.... BUT the customers are horrible, calls are stressful, management is down your throat making you harass customers for sales just to not bonus. Unrealistic goals which sets you up to fail. Management also laughs & jokes all day and get attitudes when you ask for help. Every single boss is a contradiction! They tell you to NOT do things they walk around doing. Everybody is gossiping even management, QA, H&R will gossip EVERYONE. No respect for employees will write you up quick just to keep you on your last leg so they can fire you at their own discretion. Meanwhile the founder is flying all over the country basking in all the hard work you do giving no recognition. I've had a lot of jobs but this is hands down the worse I've ever experienced!!!You can have the best customer service skills on the planet if they don't like you personally, you're gone. Thank God I was blessed to find a less stressful higher paying job!

Stock Coordinator (Former Employee), Lynnfield, MaOctober 15, 2014
Pros: great benefits and clothes
Cons: point system, hard to take breaks and favorism, if you make sales.
I worked with this company for about four weeks. You are happy with benefits, because they are great. But don't get the management upset. If they don't like you, your life can be horrible there. The hardest part of the job is trying to take a break and that they just don't trust their employees, constant bag checks and even have to get a manager to even open the back door for you can do trash or take in a shipment. You are told everyday, the unrealistic number of sales needed. You are given lists day and night, of things to do and also, told to give the customers extra things to try on while they are in the fitting room area, to drive sales. The most enjoyable part of the job are the clothes and the 50% discount. The clothes are so beautiful and comfortable. They expect you to be a perfect employee and no exceptions. Just a very hostile environment.

Fast growing company
Staff Accountant (Current Employee), St. Louis, MOOctober 7, 2014
Pros: flex scheduling
I assist in month end close processes that include bank reconciliations, posting journal entries, state sales and use tax preparation and submittal.

I have gained valuable training in the financial statement process from beginning to end and all of the parts that contribute to the creation of the financial statements.

I really enjoyed the flex scheduling environment.

Soft Consultant (Current Employee), St. Louis, MOMarch 4, 2013
Pros: pick your own schedule
Cons: breaks are only 10 minutes
Love the job, but sometimes management/supervisors preform act like bestfriends instead of professionals or co-workers.

The pay is great, get to pick your own work schedule. Just don't get on an supervisors or managers bad side.

Very stressful workplace but employees were fun to work with
Sales Call Center/Customer Service (Former Employee), St. Louis, MOFebruary 20, 2013
Pros: you could make extra money if you could upsale on every call
Cons: the point system was set up to make you fail
A typical day at work was you were on the phone from the time you entered until you left with a break in the am and pm and for lunch. But you were on a point system and given points for returning from break and lunch too early or too late. There were no clocks in the whole building not even in the lunch room area and the times on the computer and phones were completely different so you never were sure which time to go by because they were both different and even the time on your watch which matched your cell phone time was different from both of these so it was quite stressful to keep in line with not getting a point against you. It was almost like they wanted you to fail. My sales were always good and so was my phone manner.

Master of all departments (Current Employee), Mexico MOFebruary 16, 2013
Pros: if you work in the right department you can do what you want
Cons: management
The management does not care about you they will make you work overtime and then let you leave early on Friday so ends up being regular time just earlier hours. I think this place needs organized labor!!! ;-)

Nice work place but don't get sick.
Customer Sales and Service Rep (Current Employee), St. Louis moNovember 27, 2012
Pros: great benefits, nice work environment
Cons: attendance point system, unfair sales statistics, management
The attendance in the call center is on a point system. If you get sick they don't accept doctor's notes unless you've been out for 3 days. But you still get points for the 3 days you were out. The work environment is okay but you won't move up in the company. The sales commission is hard to get if you are a full time rep because you are taking more calls and people aren't buying as much.

You aren't always guarantee a full 40 hour week during non-peak and you will have mandatory overtime during peak. The most I've had to work was 6 extra hours.

The environment is ideal to work in and the prople make you feel at home. The management is very knowledgeable and helpful, co-workers are as well. The hardest part of the job is the point systema dn the most enjoyable part was going into work everyday. Its hard to say anything bad about the company.

Customer Service Specialist (Former Employee), St. Louis, MOApril 22, 2012
Pros: weekly pay, raise after training, own desk/space, employee discount
Cons: short breaks and lunch, sales expected, attendance
Easy-going atmosphere with excellent co-workers to pass the time. Excellent compensation, less than realistic sales expectations. I entered this position believeing things would be totally different. Management seems to "party" while customer service handles the angry customer complaints. Company ok, would never work as a customer support rep for the company again.

Why would attendance be a con? Isn't attendance required to earn a paycheck?
