Sonus Corporation owns and operates 104 hearing care centers in the United States and Western Canada through its subsidiaries Sonus-USA, Inc., Sonus-Texas, Inc., Sonus Acquisition Corp. and Sonus-Canada Ltd. Centers owned by the Company are located in the states of Arizona, California, Illinois, Michigan, Missouri, New Mexico, Oregon, Texas and Washington – more... and in the Canadian provinces of British Columbia and Alberta. In addition to its Company-owned hearing centers, the Company operates, through Sonus-USA, a network-licensing program called The Sonus Network. There are 566 Sonus Network licensees operating in 901 locations throughout all 50 states and the District of Columbia. The Company, through its subsidiary Hear PO Corp., also operates as an independent provider association and hearing care benefit administrator. In October 2002, Amplifon (USA), Inc. acquired the Company's assets.
