The Facilities Coordinator will be based in New York and will help ensure that our studio locations consistently represent our brand through the most efficient use of resources. Assists the Facilities Manager with the coordination and day-to-day planning of maintenance, alterations, renovations, and ongoing operations of all company facilities and associated equipment and building systems.

  • Support Facilities Manager in maintaining studio facilities on a daily basis
  • Ensure the condition of our studios is a cornerstone of our success and rider experience by closely representing the SoulCycle brand
  • Manage emergency, planned, and preventative facilities work with consistent service levels
  • Manage emergency, planned and preventative facilities work at the lowest possible cost
  • Assist Facilities Manager in generating results using the most efficient labor levels
  • Ensure we perform our work with the minimum possible environmental impact
  • Accompany and assist Facilities Manager in performing periodic, detailed on-site reviews of Company facilities to measure condition against brand standard
  • Plan, budget, schedule and manage all facilities work
  • Assist Facilities Manager review and approve all work requests and associated financial approvals
  • Oversee and direct all superintendents, maintenance workers, and other personnel responsible for performing facilities work in Company facilities
  • Coordinate all work with Operations, Entitlements, and other Development Division personnel
  • Maintain detailed records of all planned, on-going, and completed facilities work including costs, schedules and status updates
  • Participate in on-going Facilities Department development including training, personal development, innovation and team building programs


  • Background in high-end retail facilities management is a huge plus
  • 2-4 years of experience in facilities maintenance is required
  • Must have strong, detail oriented communication skills
  • Must have an interest in customer service and be exceptionally organized
  • Self-motivated, proactive thinker with ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload
  • Ability to assist in managing facilities of multiple, geographically diverse studios
  • Thrive under pressure and short deadlines; must demonstrate a sharp eye for problems and an ability to solve complex problems under high pressure circumstances
  • Exhibits willingness and ability to learn, adapt and improve the Company
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project and Visio
  • Able to travel to studio locations as required to ensure successful facilities management
  • Should have a personal passion for the SoulCycle brand and/or fitness
