Highly productive environment with the customers online keeping us engaged
Senior support executive (Former Employee), Chennai, Tamilnadu, IndiaJune 1, 2014
Pros: shift schedules
Cons: short breaks as its being online is very important
We come across customers who are either students or the educators from the schools with queries on the syllabus and some techincal issues in taking the classes online.
I have learned the patterns of the technical things to make the customer get things done on their chat with us.
The management was so excellent in guiding us with tough situations like – more... the shift maintainence, helping us to provide solution, providing health benefits
The hardest part of job is at times we had to run with the same customer as the issues from their side may take hours to resolve so we keep on tracking them until they reach with their solution
I had very supportive colleagues, excellent coping team managers its like getting lucky to work with such team. – less

Needs NEW Management
General Clerk I (Current Employee), NewnanApril 30, 2014
Pros: pay, paid holidays
Cons: management
I have NEVER been in such a unorganized, pitiful, and pity environment before in my life. Management takes their authority to the head and believe they can talk to you any type of way. The pay is ok but there is always room for improvement. Once I am often a better job, I am gone!

I love every company that I've ever worked for! There could have been more opportunity for advancement, but management was not really looking to take company to new heights and levels. More so just comfortable with the way things were.

Fun work place
Data Entry (Former Employee), Binghamton, NYDecember 23, 2013
Pros: free catering
Cons: short breaks
This job consist of sitting down all night and typing correct information into the computer. I've learn to provide customers with great quality work and to have a lot of patience. Management is very organize and take pride in their work. I have made some good friends at this work place they are kind, intelligent and hardworking. There is nothing hard – more... about this job. The most enjoyable part of the job was making the customers happy. – less

Major Miscommunitcations
Indexer/Data Entry Operator (Former Employee), Binghamton, NYDecember 17, 2013
I liked my job at Souce HOV mainly because I worked a consistent schedule, with weekend offs. The hardest part of my job-for me, was just sitting in a chair for 8 hours typing...I am a busy body...and I hate to say that it was "hard" just sitting around, but its not for me. I wasn't properly trained, they had so much work when I first started they kind – more... of just "threw me to the wolves"...which I didn't mind, I am a quick learner just by observation. I didn't talk much to co-workers, just interacted with "good morning", "how are you"...but never established any kind of "bond" I guess you could call it. I disliked the management, they clearly have big communications issues at this job. They would say one thing (i.e ensuring raises, better health benefits, bonuses, etc) and every time it fell through...now I know that some things might have been out of managements control, but I just think you shouldn't be going around telling people that certain things if they never got the green light on the idea or suggestion. – less

Positive working environment, poor training.
(Temp) Data Entry Specialist (Former Employee), Troy, MIDecember 12, 2013
Pros: easy work with the ability to listen to music freely.
Cons: short-breaks, poor training.
Being computer suave' it was easy work, I just wish they were less strict on some of their policy issues. Besides the strict rules, it's a very fun working environment I enjoyed my time working up until my assignment came to an end. Everyday was simple, come in and reach my typing quota. I listened to the instructions or updates that were given to us – more... and applied it to my performance to the best of my ability. The training was rocky but as time went on they got better instructors. They have very short breaks but if you are prepared, days are pretty fast. – less

Lack of growth opportunities,
Data Entry Specialist (Current Employee), Forest Park, GAOctober 14, 2013
Pros: doing what i love: administrative work
Cons: short breaks, lack of advancements
A typical work day is sitting at my desk keying insurance documents for about 7 hours and learning the new changes the client has provided the employees with for the day. Management is unprofessional and need training courses on how to bring morale to the work place. Co-workers are not very team-oriented and show lack of enthusiasm while working but – more... that is mainly due to managements lack of encouragement. The hardest part of work is having to be silent at all times within the workplace. The most enjoyable part of my job is actually doing my work and either meeting or surpassing the quality goals. – less
