The Program Analyst will support the delivery of Source Intelligence’s regulatory compliance and sustainability service offerings. The Analyst will fulfill all of the responsibilities outlined below.
Provide research, interpretation and overall management and support of Sustainability, Supply Chain and Regulatory Compliance services. This may include:
Research international, federal, state and local requirements relevant to sustainability; supply chain compliance (including but not limited to conflict minerals, REACH, RoHS, etc.); and environmental, health and safety SSCC & EHS topics.
Prepare and document regulatory interpretations.
Identify SSCC & EHS certification, license and permitting requirements relevant to Source Intelligence service offerings.
Meet with and engage in communications with customers and their suppliers & vendors for data collection purposes.
Make independent decisions without direct supervision about matters that are important to Source Intelligence and its SSCC & EHS contracts.
Document methods to assess SSCC & EHS requirements.
Develop and implement of conflict minerals due diligence and compliance programs for customers.
Development of management system elements, programs and procedures for Source Intelligence customers that are conformant with ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001 or other comparable standards.
Assess of carbon, water and waste footprints for raw materials, facilities, products and supply chains.
Bill and/or track hours for technical services against SSCC & EHS contracts.
Site visits to customer and/or their supplier/vendor facilities; on site work; preparation of reports, procedures, plans and programs and other written documents; and data collection and management.
Support the Business Operations Center staff with supplier engagement, M/SDS acquisition and spill response services M/SDS.
Assign tasks to personnel to support SSCC & EHS contracts.
Work integrally with and assist the Source Intelligence Program Managers, Directors, Senior Leadership and other staff to continuously improve upon our service offerings and delivery to customers.
Make independent decisions regarding the execution of SSCC & EHS contracts.
Execute special assignments that require decision-making relevant to the execution of SSCC & EHS contracts with minimal supervision.
Assist with the preparation of:
Internal documents related to Source Intelligence service offerings, operating procedures describing the processes used by Source Intelligence to execute these service offerings.
Content for proposals to be delivered to customers.
Content for white papers for journal or website publication.
Research SSCC & EHS-related topics and prepare white papers and/or presentation materials for presentation to conferences and/or trade association meetings.
Assist with the participation at trade association and conferences.
Participate in webinars, seminars, workshops, meetings and other events for continuing education purposes.
This may include the delivery of presentations and trainings to Source Intelligence employees.
Create synergy and leverage the knowledge, personnel, and resources within Source Intelligence.
Bachelor’s degree in Health or Earth Science, Business or comparable.
Master’s degree in Policy, Business, Health or Earth Sciences, or comparable preferred.
2 to 10 years experience with SSCC & EHS regulatory compliance including conflict minerals compliance, spill reporting, Hazard Communication and M/SDS management requirements, permitting and chemical inventory preparation at federal, state and local levels.
Years in school obtaining Master’s degree may count for years experience.
2 to 10 years SSCC & EHS project management experience.
Interest in the principles of sustainability, supply chain compliance, carbon footprinting, EHS management and social accountability.
Excellent communicator with strong writing skills.
Demonstrated organizational priority-setting skills.
Attention to detail.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite applications in Word, Excel, Powerpoint.
