Secretary/Office Assistant Needed (Gardena )
Immediate Full time opening for secretarial position at a Gardena based Shredding & Recycling company. Candidates must meet the qualifications listed below in order to be considered for this position.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

- Maintain files and records
- Operate a multi line switchboard, incl. taking messages, screening calls and responding to routine questions
- Entering recievables/payables in Quickbooks and in our proprietary internal accounting system
- Handle all mail and shipping; all mail, faxes and E-mails to one or more office staff; package and arrange all outgoing post incl. mail, UPS and Fedex.
- Arrange for the purchase of all office supplies
- Operate and maintain photocopier and facsimile
- Greet and direct office visitors
- Prepare, edit and type routine and non-routine correspondence.
- Compile and update standard reports.

To be considered for this position you must have the following qualifications:

- Computer and internet savvy
- Self-motivated, detail oriented, and able to multi-task
- Professional attitude and appearance
- Have strong organizational and great customer service communication skills
- Experience with filing, faxing and using copier
- High School and equivalent

  • 1+ years of related experience required
  • Knowledge in: Word, Excel, Outlook & Quickbooks with the ability to learn new systems quickly

Must Pass Background & Drug Screening.
