Receptionist, Bookeeping, Garland, TX - April 9, 2013
A typical day at the Dental clinic was not knowing what you where going in for, who was staying in office or who was going out marketing. My typical day at work was rarely a receptionist mainly marketing and bookkeeping. I already had previous receptionist experience so i would train those who where to stay in office. I learned how to market and speak to people and where to go and not to go when promoting a business. Also bookkeeping was a big learning experience i was the only one that did it and entered his expenses in and thought him the owner and Dentist and one other co-worker how to do it so when i wasn't there, even though he had my days where i only did bookkeeping. Management was him Doctor was our management. he wasn't the best didn't know how to manage his employees when it came to hours and days, wasn't the politest either. My co-workers where very helpful and we always did team work and got along great. The hardest part was learning how to do quick books how to do bookkeeping. I only got trained three days, it was a learning process but my teacher was always there if i ever had a question. The most enjoyable were going to work with my co-workers and when market when we had special events for kids to teach them how to brush there teeth and healthy eating habits for there teeth. I enjoyed the boding with our patients.
