To build, develop and lead a sales team of approximately two to four sales representatives selling audio visual services to corporations, conferences, & conventions in a total solutions environment. Responsible for ensuring both the team’s and one’s own revenue and profit goals are met.


  • Meet or exceed budgeted revenue, profit, and all AV sales benchmarks both individually and at the team level
  • Develop and effectively lead a team of sales professionals who use a AV selling strategies
  • Lead by example, following all sales rep standards and processes for one’s own sales
  • Spend significant time in the field working to build business for the company
  • Effectively manage rep activity levels including appointments, RFPs, & Events
  • Continuously train sales team to ensure comprehensive knowledge of all products and services
  • Continue to grow one’s own leadership and sales skills
  • Do constant recruiting and networking to maintain a pipeline of qualified prospects
  • Work closely and effectively with Operations and Administrative departments
  • Ensure an effective working relationship with Upper Management.
  • Look continuously for ways to improve the entire division and to develop better business practices
  • Provide accurate forecasting and drive utilization of forecasting and customer data base tools
  • Some Travel required
  • Outside Sales Position


  • Minimum of five years proven success in biz to biz sales, with at least two years in a sales manager position
  • Outstanding motivation and leadership skills, validated through proven sales success
  • Experience in a field-oriented leadership position
  • Demonstrated ability to forecast, budget, report, and drive business results
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, sales staff, & a/v technicians
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong record of recruiting success
  • Strongly prefer a four-year college degree in Sales, Business, or a related field
  • A very strong sense of urgency
