South Shore Hospital operates an emergency medicine residency program in cooperation with Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. It also has an affiliation with Quincy Medical Center through which the pair shares resources, including physician specialists, to fill service gaps.
The hospital employs more than 1,500 nurses, representing most nursing specialties, from emergency and critical care to community health.
