I can't say enough good things to say about this agency!
There are two MIT grads working there including the GM and there are people that have worked there for over 40 years. What does that tell you about the quality of the management at STPUD?
There are the usual personality conflicts that you'll have in any agency, but I can count on one hand the number of difficult people working there. Not bad for having over a hundred employees.
Your compensation and benefits are outstanding and they have a commitment to career development and advancement. They developed a succession planning strategy that allows employees to sample other jobs and many of the managers worked their way up to their positions while at STPUD.
If you're unhappy at this agency, that's on you. STPUD values and takes care of their employees like family and you won't find a better agency to work for IMHO.
Consider yourself lucky if you get a chance to work there! :)
