Assistant Residential Manager, Depew, NY - December 5, 2016
I work with individuals with developmental disabilities and I enjoy being a part of their everyday lives. My co-workers can be difficult to work with and there is a heavy turnover rate in employment. In my job I have learned to be patient and have a deeper understanding of those with a disability. The hardest part of this job is when a resident passes away. We become so attached to them that they are family. The most enjoyable part of this job is the relationships we build with the residents and the smile they bring to your face the minute you walk into work. They melt your heart.
