A typical day would be, opening up the office and getting some of the general office duties accomplished. The front is always busy so you have to stay on your toes and making sure no customer has to wait for them to make their payment on their water bill. Meanwhile you will be Entering Vendor's Invoices, billing for 1300 Customers, Issuing Work Orders, sending out checks, Collections, I have learned and taught myself a lot from working with Southern Water. The hardest part of the job is sometimes trying to calm down an irate customer whose bill is outrage or they have been disconnected for nonpayment.
