Hospice Aide, College Station, TX - July 13, 2015
My typical day at work started by going in getting the supplies and things I needed for my patients. Travel to different areas to my patients from nursing facilities to their homes. Working for hospice was a very humbling experience, I learned not to complain so much about the things that go wrong in my life because there is someone who has it much worse than myself. The hardest part of the job was getting attached the patient and their family and the patient pass away, or having a patient with no family to be there with them in such a difficult time in their life. But it was so rewarding to know that my patient was happy and comfortable.
