Southlake Regional Health Centre

The Southlake Regional Health Centre Foundation was established in 1978 to provide the Hospital, your hospital, with an important vehicle for the funding of medical equipment, major capital projects, and special programs not covered by government grants. As partners in caring, we appreciate your participation and contributions to the Foundation.

Over
 – more... the past twenty years, the Foundation has funded projects including the establishment of the Palliative Care Unit, Rheumatoid Arthritis and Chaplaincy programs. As well, the Foundation also funded the purchase of urgently required equipment such as a gamma camera, a $150,000 mammography unit and a $2M CAT SCAN. The Foundation has been key in providing funding for the Regional MRI unit which opened in June of '97.

We have a very caring community…from the very young, to the more senior. They all understand the Foundation's cause and how important it is for everyone.

This year, and into the future, the Foundation's role grows in importance. We want Southlake Regional Health Centre to be the best hospital possible for you, your family and friends. But, with government cutbacks and restraints, our role is really heightened. We must turn to the community for help.

The objective of the Foundation is to raise $1 million each and every year from the community. Although this is a sizeable goal, the Southlake Regional Health Centre Equipment Needs List amounts to over $3 million in total. We do need your participation and help.

We welcome any and all contributions. The amount is not really important. We are in this together, with the goal of providing the very best for you, your family and your community. Your action and participation is what is so very special and needed. – lessMore from ZoomInfo »
