Ramp Operations (Former Employee), Denver, COMay 13, 2014
Pros: flying benefits, retirement plan and the health plan to name a few.
Cons: you will learn the meaning of hard work, but it also teaches us about team work.
Benefits and compensation were very good. Health plan very affordable. Easy to pick up extra hours, and overtime as well. At the pay rate you find it very advantageous to make extra for those expenses we never plan for. Flying all over the country and with our partners around the world makes it very easy to see the world.

I arrived to work thirty minutes early, I attended briefings before the start of the day.

I learned that it took everyone working together to run a successful airlines.

The management team was not afraid to work.

I loved working and spending time with my co-workers.

The hardest part about working was, watching people get hurt on the job.

The most – more... enjoyable part was the flexibility to make decisions, and the wonderful benefits. – less

I loved working for SWA. I lead a team of 20 people in Customer Relations. I worked with them to meet the Company metrics, recurrent training and career planning.
