Working at SouthWest

  • sunshine3200 in San Diego, California 44 months ago
Hey all I just wanted to hear from airline employees who have used their flight benefits. Would you say that you book a flight and are most likely to fly on that flight or get bumpped and have to wait all day at the airport? I know these tickets are standby and you will get bumpped off a flight if a paying customer is booked but is there a real time (or close to real time) system where you can kinda see if a flight has only a few open seats vs a flight that has 20 open seats? I just want to get an idea of how predicitable these standby flights really are. Thanks

It's always hard to know what to expect when going in for that interview -- and preparation can make all the difference. What is the interview process like at Southwest? Any advice on striking the right note?
