Good place to begin a career
Engineering Intern (Former Employee), Albuquerque, NMJanuary 29, 2013
Good place to begin a career in engineering. I learned a lot and gathered some tools which aided in landing a full-time engineering job with another corporation.

Energetic, focused, intelligent, rewarding!
Research Assistant (Former Employee), Logan, UTOctober 25, 2012
Pros: a very professional and driven atmosphere, flexibility for travel.
Cons: hard to get a hold of co-workers, due to travel and school work.
I was a part-time trainee at Space Dynamics Laboratory. I was responsible for designing and overlooking production of 12 mock greenhouse chambers for plant growth under various environmental condition combinations. I wrote a Manual for training Purposes. I assisted data gathering, analysis and summarizing for calibration of scientific equipment built – more... by my peers, and discribing these for Publication and training purposes. I also wrote a Windows based analysis program to summarize plant growth in the Greenhouse as to translate engineering data into scientific calculations. It was intense, we had a good team, but as we were mostly students, sometimes hard to get together for meetings. In addition to all the knowledge in the scientific and Engineering field I gatherd at this work, I learned how to multitask, cooperate with fellow workers, count on one anothers skills and advice. I travelled twice to Moscow, and helped with translating tasks and information. I had a really great and sincere relationship with my Management.I learned to communicate any concerns, and to respond to any needs. The hardest part of the job was programming. I often needed assistance from my peers, and it was not prompt, since they were also involved in school work. The most enjoyable part of the job was the sense of accomplishment and group work. I enjoyed travelling to Russia, and I really enjoyed presenting my final Software package. – less

Great place for students to get experience
Engineering Assistant (Former Employee), Logan, UTAugust 14, 2012
Pros: flexible hours. lots of opportunities for students
I tested and assembled new electronics. I often worked closely with an engineer to fix problems and was able to work alone after learning the ropes.
