Position Title: Tier II Help Desk Support

Security Clearance: Active Secret Clearance preferred / must be eligible for a Secret Clearance.

Location: Cherry Point, NC

Job Description: Provide support to end users on a variety of issues associated with a web based program by identifying, researching, and responding to telephone calls, email and personnel requests for technical and functional support ensuring clients receive the highest level of service. Document, track and monitor the problem to ensure a timely resolution. Work with Tier III Helpdesk support to provide training, technical aids, and procedures. Work with Technical Team to resolve issues identified during the testing process. Rely on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Communicate technical solutions to both military and civilian end users in both oral and written format.

Qualifications and Experience: Knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within the Information Technology field. Candidates must have Helpdesk/Troubleshooting experience at the application and program level. Candidates need the ability to work autonomously and maintain a high level of self motivation for learning the application and user base. Work experience within the DOD and/or a government setting is preferred. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, investigative and diagnostic skills are essential. Applicants must possess the ability to respectfully and effectively communicate with all levels and cultures including a high level and diverse community. Some database experience preferred, but not required.

Degree: Associates degree in related field.
