Wow...so sad to hear all those negative comments, but I'm going to give it a try anyway...im very positive and I willing to give it a try....
I would say the review below is an accurate assessment!! Charter has the tech's hands tied. Vets want out.
Been a field tech for 6 years and can not WAIT to get out. TWC was a decent company to work for with decent morale. Ever since the Charter buyout, things have rapdily gone from bad to worse. These people are dishonest with customers. They deliberately advise to charge customers for outlets, etc. and not to tell them about said charges and that "they'll find out when their bill comes in.''
My superiors tell me to take a break even if I have to be late to an appointment when really the time should be alotted. But no, if you get held up on a job and cant take it at 12 and you actually care about your customers, dont expect to get a break at all because they will tell you to take one at the customer's expense. They have all of us up to our ears in work, so no one can pick up a job off your route so you can get what is yours.
This company is a joke. "Reinventing what a cable company can be" is what they like to advertise... more like "Reinventing what TWC was a decade ago." This place has done nothing but regress. Weve lost service to provide and have gone back to the early millenia, while companies like Direct TV are currently raping us on TV subs because they offer basic and expected functions like whole home DVR service.
The people in charge dont have a CLUE.
Work environment sucks, all the manager are worried about is write ups and firing people. This company wants disposable technicians and has no desire to be a half decent place to work.
It varies from job to job but is generally pleasant and company is employee oriented.

The employees including management all become part of a family. We all had frustrating days but at the end of the day you had your work family to build you up again.

Horrible, dont do it. Everyone is trying to leave, I work in the store. They punish you (writing you up ) if you do not meet sales quota
