This position functions as part of an interdisciplinary team of healthcare providers who provide mental health services to those with mental illness. This position works 60 hours per pay period, is considered full-time, and full-time benefits are available!

Position Requirements
*Graduation from an accredited Master of Social Work program
*Current Social Work License in the State of Iowa
*Knowledge of complex issues related to mental health, such as patient rights versus the safety and well-being of the patient and the greater community
*Knowledge of the Iowa Code, as it relates to mental health issues
*Ability to assure attention to detail and focus on quality at all times
*Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize & organize workload
*Excellent team building skills

Position Responsibilities
*Ensures that patients' psychosocial needs are identified and assists in providing support and positive change in the patient
*Planning and implementing daily therapeutic groups
*Oversee the delivery of Social Services in the Mental Health Unit
*Complete necessary documentation in the medical record
