Heat Press
Heat Press (Former Employee), Mebane, NCOctober 13, 2014
A typical day at work would be standing around these hot machines all day pressing items on a shirt.

I learned not only how to heat press but to pack as well.

Being around people who watched you and didnt really care about your well beings was the hardest part.

the most enjoyable was being around people who made you laugh constantly.

Picker/Packer (Former Employee), Mebane, NCOctober 8, 2014
Pros: able to listen to music, friendly people
Cons: second shift, lay off season
I come in and go to the computer to print labels then go out in retrieve items. Place on machine and then go get more labels. Or I would come in and go to computer and scan items that need to be shipped.

A horrible work place
embroidery (Former Employee), MebaneJuly 9, 2014
Cons: short breaks, horrible supervisers, bad pay
I refuse to work for this company again!Because after turning down a superviser from him wanting a one night stand with me after I told him I was not interested,he proceeds to make my worklife a living nightmare. Then the night I was let go because of the end of the season he had a attitude beacuse I said good bye to to the people I made friends with,he – more... jerked my bage out of my hand and walks off. – less

Horrible place to work
Screening Technican (Former Employee), Mebane, NCApril 30, 2014
Pros: none honestly
Uneducated people work here. Stay far away from this place. This is basically a sweat shop in America. I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy.

Fun workplace with great coworkers
EVP Tour (Former Employee), Chicago, ILMarch 14, 2014
Pros: fun company's culture
Cons: getting paid late
I worked with this company and managed relationships and secured programs execution in multiple sport facilities. The job was pleasant and stress free.
I had wonderful coworkers that were passionate about their jobs.
The best part of the job was giving back to the community by teaching sports to your athletes.
The most stressful part was getting paid – more... on time. – less

A equal opportunity employeer
Merchandise Manager (Current Employee), Mebane, NCJanuary 7, 2014
Pros: incentive pay
Cons: the clock in and put process
My work day starts at 8 and ends at 4. My department has breaks at 9:20 and 2:30. We have lunch at 12:00. My team leader and supervisor are very approachable and always encourage growth and other areas of the department. The co-workers are pleasant and everyone helps each other if you have question. I enjoy learning new areas of my department. As of – more... now the hardest part is not knowing when my seasonal period will end. – less

DAY IN THE WORK PLACE
Warehouse Associate (Current Employee), Mebane, NCNovember 24, 2013
Pros: easy work, fun, get hours when there is work
Cons: pay and hours
BEEN WORKING FOR THE COMPANY FOR OVER A YEAR NOW. PAY IS NOT WORTH THE WORK PERFORMED...I CALL IT A LEGAL SWEAT SHOP. HARDEST PART IS DEALING WITH MANAGEMENT WHEN THEY HAVE NO CLUE HOW TO DO THE JOB THEMSELVES. I DO ENJOY THE WORK AND SOME COWORKERS. WE ALL ARE THERE TO WORK YET SOMETIMES THE COMPANY CAN MAKE TERRIBLE DECISIONS. COMPANY DOES NOT CONSIDER – more... HIRING FULL TIME EMPLOYEES, MAJORITY OF THE EMPLOYEES INCLUDING MYSELF HAVE BEEN WORKING THERE FROM 1-6 YEARS AND STILL PART-TIMERS BUT WORK FULL TIME HOURS. – less

This is the most backwards company you could work for
Call Center Advanced Member (Former Employee), Hillsborough, NCOctober 19, 2013
Pros: wear whatever you want to work
Cons: management, fear of losing your job, stupidly low wages for the work you perform, stroking egos to keep your job
SEI (Eurosport) is unbelievably unprofessional. They will get you in, train you, and then SCARE YOU TO DEATH to make you work like a coal miner. Their lay-offs are HUGE. One year they laid off half of their staff. And management? They are the biggest joke. Spineless, passive-aggressive, and will fire you if you don't firmly place your nose in their – more... posterior.

Don't believe me? Apply for yourself and see. Their retention rate is abysmal and because they are the largest soccer company in the world, they walk around with giant sticks up their arses.

So, if you want to be worked to the bone for $8.00 per hour and you are black, hispanic, and/or female (they don't hire white males anymore -- seriously). Then start digging your grave and fill out an application. You've been warned. – less

Relaxed, family atmosphere with emphasis on team and sports.
MIS Programmer (Current Employee), Hillsborough, NCJuly 16, 2013
Pros: flexible schedule, family friendly, supportive.
Cons: you can't eat at your desk.... really that is the worst thing i can think of.
This is a great place to work. Leaving it almost feels like leaving family. Things are constantly changing there and that aspect of the job was challenging, but it kept things fresh and interesting. During major soccer tournaments, they encourage employees to stop in the break room and cheer for their favorite teams featured on the big screen.

A decent place to intern
Graphics Intern (Former Employee), Hillsborough, NCJuly 16, 2013
Typically, I assisted with prepping apparel for photography and digitally edited images to the correct specifications. I learned a few leveling and masking techniques in Photoshop. Management was effective enough, and my co-workers had a great work ethic. The hardest part of the job was not being paid. Gaining work experience was the most enjoyable – more... part. – less

A fun place to work at
Customer Service Fulfiller (Former Employee), Mebane, NCJune 29, 2013
Cons: salary starts off at minimum wage ($7.25) and increases a little bit every year.
This place is a bit tougher to get on at due to the fact that they only hire when necessary, but for those who do get hired, it's only half the battle. Those who are fortunate to get hired at Sports Endeavors also have to fight for a job. There are usually layoff's that happen at the end of every "busy season" and they'll layoff just about anybody who – more... (either) doesn't want to work there or just can't get the hang of the job. You also get to see the same people every day so relationships can be made and managed, but the opposite can happen as well. It's an okay place to work at starting off, but it doesn't lead to anything better. It's a tough place to get into....and an even tougher place to quit from. – less

Very Productive fun place working with different people
Customer Service Representative (Former Employee), Hillsborough, NCJune 26, 2013
Pros: cafeteria with fresh and hot foods with flat screen tvs
Cons: rude customers for no apparent reason
I want to start off by saying that this may have been the best job that i've ever had because I got to experience different things and different people of all races worked there because it was a Call Center. I learned that even though the customers calling to place their orders could not see your faces they knew exactly how to tell you attitude by the – more... way you were talking to them on the phone. They were the best when it came to if you needed them for help with for anything such as a angry customer or team coaches that were not satisfied with their orders they may have placed with prior customer service representative. – less
