Ok SFM's acutal E&E Policy towards overages/shortages is. Anything + /- $4.99 nothing happens. Anything - / + $5.00 - $19.99 you will be placed on a Red Audit. Which means that you will have a mandatory audit on the your next shift. You are given 2 chances of a Red Audit. Once you have hit your 3rd variance, you will be placed on Cashier Accountability/Green Audit. When you are on Green Audit, you will be counted on and off your till for the next 5 shifts, without exception. A Green Audit can also occur if you have 1 single instance of - / + $20.00. All of this is based on over a 60 day time period. For every Cashier Accountability/Green Audit that you are placed on, there is a corresponding Corrective Action/Write Up. As we know there is a point system, per termination. I however am not sure as to how many points you accumulate for this kind of write up.

In retail the shifts can vary, depending on the store hours.
32 or less is part time and 32+ is considered full-time.
No one is guaranteed any certain amount of hours, except the dept. mgrs. and store mgr. and assist. mgr.
Things were very chaotic in the beginning and haven't seem to change much.
I hate to admit it, but they don't seem to care for the workers in the Deli Dept.
All in all, I'm starting to see that they are trying to show some appreciation for the workers. They truly do not allow enough time for the deli dept. to be run smoothly and to function properly. It's really quite frustrating. Many people seemed to have quit, due to the lack of organization.
Many employees want benefits, but a very selected few will receive them.
