Its a great place to get started and learn the factory business.
Machine Operator, Loader and Unloader (Former Employee) –  Portageville, MOAugust 30, 2017
Its tough at first physically but when you get used to it and learn and understand proper protocol and procedure everything becomes second nature. The hours are pretty good considering they run 3 shifts.
Pros
The co-workers were great.
Cons
They would wait until the end of the shift to let the guys know if we were working on Saturday.

If you just want to make some money work there but advancement is limited
HR Site Business Partner (Former Employee) –  Covington, GAAugust 22, 2017
Management does not work as a team and the employees suffer badly with poor decisions at the top. Very little experience in managing at that team level. Highly micro-managed company. Good old boys club mentality. Departments to not work together for the good of the total objective but a lot has to do with lack of support.
Pros
Good benefits
Cons
Too many hours and weekends, non-supportive management

Not organized on third shift. Too much gossiping about others. Treated temporary workers like outlaws. If you like working a lot most of time then this is the job for you.

Truck Driver/Warehouse (Former Employee) –  Portageville, Missouri 63873August 11, 2017
This is mostly a fast pace job, which I liked very much. Loaded, unloaded trucks. Moved trailers around yard and in docks. Was a good paying place to work but had no real authority when it came to the rules of the plant.
Pros
Good paying

It's hot but they do everything in their power to try and keep you cool but over all it's a fun laid back work environment. As long as you do your job you will have a great experience.

Customer Service Representative (Current Employee) –  Evansville, INJuly 6, 2017
Human Resources department is rude and never available. Managements is more interested in having a good time than concentrating on customer needs. Seems to be one big good ole boy's club.

Temporary Worker (Former Employee) –  Newbern, TNJune 5, 2017
SRG Global is an enormous work force dealing with vehicle products. Work 8 hour shifts or over time if needed. I worked in the paint section of the plant where I would take numerous parts from huge racks and send those items to be checked.

Lunch

Final Inspector (Current Employee) –  Evansville, INApril 24, 2017
Setup for parts to be viewed and scanned work orders and prepare for proper viewing of part. I have learned to be more tedious, but so to tedious as not to get the work done. Management is unbalanced with people confused and telling workers one thing and shifting and telling workers something else. Sometimes you have to ask several times what they really want. The culture is good with ways to advance there, but the hardest part is getting each part right without errors on the part accepted as good. The most enjoyable part of the job is sometimes the people, typically the workers who use humor to dispel tension.
Pros
Xmas dinner, thanksgiving turkey, holidays, and vacation days, benefits
Cons
short breaks, temperamental bosses, confusing work stations and little work space

Molding Operator (Current Employee) –  Morehead, KYApril 7, 2017
Enjoyed working with my co-workers, goofed around with and was also still serious and hard working at the same time. Very productive, easy work after getting used to it, sometimes got boring doing the same thing over and over throughout the night. I learned a lot through my experience here at this factory, including being able to work both independently and as a team, and with a partner sometimes. Also learned how to be the roll of a leader more to take charge of a group and help assist. Sometimes the work got tough and others would not care to help out, but overall a pretty good work experience.
Pros
Pay raises, vacation, easy work.
Cons
Worked a lot of hours per week

Very poor homelife/worklife balance. Great Otherwise!
Floor Technician (Current Employee) –  Morehead, KYMarch 20, 2017
Honestly not the best place to work, although the pay is great. The balance between home and work is not in compliance with most other factories. The management was wonderful in my experience, they work with you hands on and are understanding for the most part. Although I cannot help but admit it is who you know, if they don't like you; you'll know. But as far as Benefits, you're set. The health insurance and 401k is great. I would recommend working here, it'll help you build and understand core values; not every place you work will be sunshine and rainbows. You have to make the best of it, and with SRG you'll have a job as long as you show up and try.
Pros
Benefits, fellow employees, character building, management, paid lunches.
Cons
Long hours, 7day work week, limited breaks.
