Cons: management clueless and spies on employees
Co-workers only positive of this job. Day to day work in the call center or network admin is fine, until you figure out that there is not so subtle pressure for you to work extra hours/stay late with zero extra compensation. People regularly work 60-80 hours a week for barely over $50k. Management has no clue, and doesn't care to get one. They are only interested in their bonuses, and completely refuse to try to work out issues with their employees. If you make an unwitting mistake, you won't hear about it until review time, where they use it as an excuse to give you less of a raise/bonus. Either that or you simply get fired one day, with no warnings given and no indication of what you did wrong, just vague smearing of your work ethic and character. They also spy on their employees by reading their emails, examining PC logs, and watching their screens without permission, even when off the clock. Total paranoia.
Stay far away from this mess unless you're friends with the CEO.
