I worked for SSOE for several years and in that time frame I traveled to China to train staff in the Shanghai office. Two years of traveling and training staff in Shanghai my returned to my structural department and was laid off because the department manager was threatened I was progressing out of his department and had a chance to move on to bigger and better things then him. Department manager would take credit for everything positive for the department but quickly threw you under the bus if in didn't make him look better.
The travel was amazing and the chance to live overseas was outstanding.
When you think you will retire form a company and have a future don't look at SSOE. Your very underpaid and it is a sweatshop.
