Horrible place to work!!!!!!!!
CPHT (Former Employee), pharmacy – March 14, 2013
Pros: meeting new people.
Cons: they do not pay you the going rate.
This is the worst environment to work in. They lie to you. They do not care for their patients. A patients in need has to wait while their nurse is playing a game or facebooking on there phone. The pharmacy is a joke. They put food in the refrigarator with the IV medication. They are not 797 compliant. The building is crumbling down. managers have there – more... picks. some people so all the work while others sit on their butts. Employees are not held in account for their actions. This is the worst place to work. I was so stress out all the time. another thing this hospital was on the fortune five hundred magizine. They make all of this money but do not give proper raises. – less

HORRIBLE ,DIRTY, ILLEGAL PRACTICES
RN (Former Employee), TRENTON,NJ – February 2, 2013
Cons: everything
DIRTY, FAILS JACHO STANDARDS EVERY TIME, HR DEPARTMENT HAS WORST MOST ILLEGAL DIRECTOR EVER MET! THEY BAD MOUTH FORMER EMPLOYEES ILLEGALLY. THEY DONT GIVE YOU LUNCH BREAKS, AND IF YOU DONT GET ONE THEY REFUSE TO NOT DEDUCT FROM YOUR PAY. FORCE YOU TO WORK WEEKENDS AT REGULAR PAY , INSTEAD OF RATE PAY AS LEGALLY OBLIGATED. NO LABS ARE ACCREDITTED AND – more... THEY WILL PROBABLY CLOSE SOON, BUT IF YOU DONT HAVE INSURANCE , I GUESS YOURE STUCK GOING HERE ...THEY DONT CARE ABOUT THEIR EMPLOYEES OR PATIENTS. – less

Very busy healthcare enviroment
Doctor Office Coordinator (Current Employee), Trenton, NJ – December 15, 2012
Cons: very short breaks, rarely get free lunches
I have learned that alot of Americans are without healthcare benefits and we are here to help them in there time of needs. I have excellent co-workers were almost like family. Management is hard to say because with in the past 2 years we've had about three management leaders. What I enjoy most about my job is that I make the patient feel comfortable – more... treat them with respect despite what there financial status is. – less

Telemetry Unit secretary and monitor tech (Former Employee), Monroe, LA – December 5, 2012
All in all it was a pretty good place to work. Although, I disliked working the night shift very much. My bosses were always willing to help in any situation and for the most part I really enjoyed everyone that I worked with.

productive work place, also able to excel and move to different departments
Certified Nursing Assistant (Current Employee), Monroe, LA – November 3, 2012
Pros: i'm allowed as much overtime as i want, patients contact
Cons: short breaks
My typical day is very fast paced very active. I consist of bathing, shaving, making beds, feeding, and helping with helping patients get ready for test and procedure. The hardest part of my job is taking care of a family or close friend who comes into the hospital sick or injuried. The most enjoyable part of my job is making my patients smile, because – more... you never know how much a smile means to someone. I really enjoy working with my co-workers we laugh joke and help each other out on duty and off, Most of us are like family. – less

Locum tenens - courtesy staff (Former Employee), Mooresville, IN – September 22, 2012
Pros: brought own lunch
Cons: can't think of any
I have worked there on several occasions: outpatient surgery center, main OR, and OB. In each area the nursing staff have been very helpful and the operating rooms are well equipped from an anesthesiologist's stand point. They also gave me instruction in how to use their new electronic record keeping system.

Excellent care and employee respect
RN (Current Employee), Colorado Springs, CO – August 12, 2012
Pros: new and clean work environment; respect for the individual.
Cons: there is more call required than usual; pay in this region is lower than expected.
I have never worked in a hospital where the staff is so professional and pleasant. They are welcoming to both new staff and patients. There is a common thread of a desire to provide excellent care to the patient.

As a nurse, I felt respected by management and my peers. I genuinely felt good about the level of care we provided and enjoyed my work.
