Medical transcriptionist (Former Employee), Cape Girardeau, MO – May 4, 2012
Pros: treated with respect.
Cons: did not have any problems here.
I enjoyed working at St. Francis Medical Center and they were very, very good to their patients. I liked being a part of the team and helping each other out. We were treated with respect and if we had any questions they would work with us to work them out.
Social Work Resource Management/Ambulatory Care. (Former Employee), Erie, PA – April 21, 2012
Pros: fun and creative work environment
Cons: salaies were not competitive and raises minimal.
Had opportunities to develop a lot of skills in different areas due to willingness to include many departments throughout the Hospital. This made it possible to create programs and pathways throughout the Hospital that benefited employees and patients.
Community Service Work (Assistant) (Former Employee), Lynwood, CA – April 17, 2012
Pros: free lunches
Cons: no cons
A TYPICAL DAY AT WORK IS HELPING PATIENTS WHEN THEY ARE HAVING PROBLEMS WITH THE MEDICAL BILLS. I LEARNED THAT THERE ALOT OF PEOPLE THAT REALLY DO NEED HELP FINANCIALLY. THE HARDEST PART OF THE JOB IS WHEN THERE IS NOTHING WE CAN DO TO HELP THEM. THE MOST ENJOYABLE PART OF THE JOB IS WHEN YOU HELP THE PATIENT AND ALL YOU CAN SEE IS A SENSE OF RELIEF – more... IN THE PATIENTS FACE. – less
Love working with the patients helping them meet their needs

I work with the patients to make sure that everything that they need done is handle.I also love working with my coworkers because, we are like a family we look out for one another and help each other out at anytime no matter what. Our Moto is that the patients are out main concern and everything else will fall right into place.
A/R SPECIALIST (Former Employee), Toeka, KS – December 20, 2011
Pros: had quiet lunchroom area
Cons: workload was imbalanced
At times, there was more work than staff could handle, so management hired 16 more people to a staff of 10. In time, employees were laid-off as the workload became imbalanced.

Monroe, La (Former Employee), ER Nurse – November 4, 2011
Pros: co workers were great
Cons: only one thirty minute break in 12 hours, managment issues, pay issues
Co Workers are great. There are three people over you in the er and you never know which one to go to with an issue big or small. Their pay scale is way off from surrounding hospitals. Ancillary staff is limited if any most days.
