Unsupportive work environment
Adjunct Faculty (Current Employee) –  Port Huron, MIMay 24, 2017
As an adjunct employee at St. Clair County Community College, I have learned that the instruction one provides is completely self-driven. There are no motivating factors to perform. Class curriculums are not governed allowing freedom to instructors. Pay is minimal for the workload, and adjunct faculty are limited to teaching and cannot teach more than 17 credit hours in a year.

Adjunct Instructor (Current Employee) –  Port Huron, MIJanuary 17, 2017
I like the college where I work. I just need more work to do. I currently teach four sections at SC4 on campus and online. I would be interested in teaching sociology at your college campus or in your online environment.
Pros
Nice work/office/internet access/ good tech support and library

Writing Consultant (Former Employee) –  Port Huron, MIOctober 8, 2016
I encourage everyone to apply here. SC4 is one of the best places I've worked for. The staff is wonderful and the students are nice. I wish I didn't have to leave this place, but I only had work-study. After I graduated, I had to leave.
Pros
Great people, relaxed environment
Cons
temporary employment due to work-study funding

great school!!!!!!!!!!!

I would recommend this school to anyone wanting to get into the health field.

The instructors are helpful, available and willing to guide students and clinical instructors.

Adjunct Professor - Psychology (Former Employee) –  Port HuronJune 26, 2012
They did not communicate what was expected of me and then didn't bring me back because I failed to meet that expectation. The people were super friendly though.
Pros
