A typical day at work would be drama-filled. Some of the co-workers there were genuine, but some were not. Most of the co-workers there gossiped about everyone including the residents. The hardest part of the job was lifting the residents. The most enjoyable part was spending time with the residents in the common area and assisting them with their daily goals. I learned how to to be more selfless by dealing with these kind of residents, and how also I learned to value life and my independence a whole lot more.
