An inspirational place to work at knowing a child is learning due to your help.
Teacher Assistant, NC - August 16, 2012
I walk into the first third grade class with warm greeting from the children. It is a great way to start the day. I then take attendance and lunch count. Then I check in homework and grade it. If there is anything new that the teachers needed I would get together before centers. I help the children with any questions they have on there morning work, writing, or projects. I grade papers. Help the teachers go over work with the children and walk around as a leasson is going on to see if any child is having difficulties and then help them one on one. Then after and 2 hours I go to the other third grade class and do the samething. I then take both third grades to lunch and recess. After lunch I go to the fourth grade until dismissal. I go back done to third and help dismiss the class. Then I aided in the After School Program. My days were never the same but enjoyed every bit of it.There was no hard part about the job. I loved working at the school seeing the children light up as they learned something new that I helped teach them.
