In 1991, St. Vincent's purchased Advanced Life Support, a the small family-owned ambulance service based in Orange Park, FL, created what is today, Advanced Patient Transportation, Inc. APT currently operates 13 Advanced Life Support ambulances and seven wheelchair/stretcher vans in the Northeast Florida region.
