Pros: free meals at time.
Cons: short breaks.
Being able to help patients and there guest with any problems they have, to make there stay a good a experience, enjoyed working with employees very much. The hardest part of my job was when patient was very ill and was not go to get better.

Pros: not much
Cons: belittled by management, yelled at, treated poorly
Management is for Management, HR is for HR and Management.....NOT the employee or the patients. They only care about St. Vincents Look to the public and destroy employee moral. I would NEVER, EVER recommend this institution to work for, ever.

A typical day at work is somehow busy sometimes census was very low.

Pros: benefits are decent.....
Cons: benefits make up in part for salary ranges.....but is not worth it.
Please consider before being involved with this company. Management, Management, Management their like a pack of wolfs...

Is really not about patient care.... Is about money,money,money

They might seem as a Catholic hospital with "morals", but they certainly lack alot of that.

Pros: great managers, close to highways, easy parking for employees
Cons: food in cafe was terrible
Half of these reviews are from employees of ST. VINCENT MEDICAL CENTER IN CALIFORNIA!!! People - This is St. Vincents Medical in Bridgeport, CT!!!!!!! I had the privelege of working there and had to leave this year because of medical reasons. I can say that I LOVED working there. Staff was excellent and fair. Worked with so many nice people and I have – more... the honor of still keeping in touch with most of them. Management was very appreciative and I actually felt like I was needed and wanted! Great raises and bonuses as well. Excellent medical benefits with paid time off. I highly recommend working there. – less
