call center for Avon products
Telephone Specialist Avon Products (Former Employee), Norcross, GAFebruary 11, 2014
Pros: was able to work around school hours, alot of nice co-workers
Cons: would have had to stay on as nightshift
I received calls from Avon representatives regarding orders, backorders, shipment, and cancellation of orders. Verified fulfillment. Assist individual customers with orders, credits, replacement items. Handled around 100 - 150 calls daily. I enjoyed talking to the customers about what they liked about the products, and helping to resolve any issues – more... with orders. Hard part was having to tell them at times that the item was not available, especially at holiday times. – less

Good people to work for
Secretary (Former Employee), Midland, TXJanuary 29, 2014
Pros: good people to work for.
Cons: didn't get to work with them longer.
Staffing Resources is an employment placement agency. I didn't get to work with them very long because they found a good job for me with a company called Professional Fleet which turned into Vector Fleet Management.

Did not like this job.
Packer (Former Employee), Frankfort, INDecember 18, 2013
I worked second shift. It was hard on me with the hours I worked. On a typical day at work I would either inspect, weigh, or package candy. I didn't like the job at all.

Factory work not for saine people!!!!!!
Temporary Staff (Former Employee), Wabash, INSeptember 4, 2013
Pros: paycheck, 1 week vacation
Cons: nothing
Sweat shop work
Company growing to fast to understand what they really need to do.
FDA rules did nothing but provoke paranoia in everyone's attitude. Over half the employees where part-time or temps even after 2 years of serve. Staffing Resources provided enough support to make you feel like you at least made a difference.

Warehouse / Forklift Driver (Former Employee), Kokomo, INAugust 14, 2013
Pros: great for employer/employees coming together
Cons: not greast at contacting you about work
I think temp agencies are growing more & more today. More employers are using them. I like them because it's easier for me to go to one place to check in, than to many different businesses.

Productive, Fast Paced & Ever Changing
Laborer (Former Employee), Logansport, INJuly 30, 2013
Pros: flexible hours, ever changing scenery
Cons: never staying in one factory for more then 2 weeks at the time
As far as a typical day there was no typical day! This has been one of my favorite jobs, I worked at several different factories & foundries in different towns. The management was very well staffed & organized. The hardest part of my job was that every time I got comfortable in a work position I was sent to another position. My favorite part of my job – more... was being able to arrange my schedual my work week. Co-Workers varied on where I was at but altogether they were very helpful & organized. I learned a variety of skills from how to run a press punch machine to learning how to make wire harnesses. – less

Gander Mountian
Gander Mountian (Former Employee), Frankfort, INOctober 8, 2012
Pros: good pay, great staff, took care of their employees
Cons: very hot
We would have a meeting first thing, find out what position we would be doing that day then exit to prepare our work for the day. Most positions took teamwork. The hardest part was loading trucks. The management was very helpful.

Credentialing Analyst (Current Employee), Alpharetta, GAAugust 5, 2012
Pros: example: free lunches, etc.
Cons: example: short breaks, healthcare, etc.
They placed me in a very good position with a company that I was able to hired on as a permanent employee. They were involved in making sure I like the job and if I ever had any problems they made me feel comfortable to know that they are there to help if I needed them.
