Service Manager/ Director Technical Training, Bridgeport, CT - November 2, 2014
A company that has been around for one hundred years with first the father, and now the son running the company. With over 25,000 customers and a couple of hundred employees, this is a relatively large heating oil and energy services company. I worked as a sub-contractor for 8 years for them, providing heating equipment installation and service, the last 3 years, I was hired as the Director of Training and Education. This then led to the Service Manager position. An OK place to work, I often felt that the needs of the company were often placed above those of the customer. One of my least favorite jobs was answering customer complaints about billing and service recieved. I loved creating and teaching classes.
