Flight Coordinator Specialist, Houston, TX - October 28, 2013
A typical work day starts with 2 coordinators over seeing 30 aircraft with over 30 trips to flight follow, make revisions, finalize all details and work on requests from managers. Management abuses new hires by over working them without additional compensation. The only positive note is the camaraderie between the other coordinators (4 coordinators for 30 airplanes). Communication between OPS manager and the coordinators are below par and at times non existent, but coordinators always get blamed, which brings down the moral of the team. Under paid compared to similar positions in the industry.
