THIS IS A 2 YEAR PROJECT
Collect, analyze, test, and document business requirements for configuration and customization of the Pilat IBMS product to support rights management, television broadcast and nonlinear distribution while providing requirements to the application support engineers for system integrations and custom features developed by the vendor or Starz.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide Tier 2 support for application questions.
Provide data analysis and research into maintaining and extending the IBMS environment.
Assist users on the IBMS system usage, setup and configuration in accordance with business requirements.
Assist in building reporting requirements.
Translate business requests into detailed system requirements and specifications for implementation and supplement testing of products and deliverables based on these requests.
Liaison between the technical team and the end-user and key business managers.
Provide technical support for Business Intelligence Developer.
Assist user(s) in process improvements and where technology can assist.
Develop standards, process, guidelines and compliance with Sarbanes Oxley change management.
Train users on how to use the systems efficiently and effectively.
Education, Knowledge, and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent preferred; Strong Data Analysis experience; Pilat IBMS or similar product experience; and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
System requirements and documentation background.
Ability to follow written and oral instructions in a highly dynamic environment.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong background in television broadcast including, linear and nonlinear distribution channels.
Rights management and broadcast programming experience preferred.
