This company was only open in Canada for 5 years. Within those 5 years, they had gone through 3 General Managers and 3 Office Managers. This should have been a red flag, but I chose to see it as a challenge.
The staff and local management team had amazing attitudes and work very well as a team. It was an absolute pleasure to work with them each day.
The head office was in Scotland and so, IT support and communication was too minimal at times. Though the staff in Scotland would do their absolute best at addressing any issues we may have been experiencing, there were times that we were left nearly un-operational for days.
For reasons of financial draw back and regrouping, the accounting portion of my position was taken over by head office. I was offered a lower position to continue working there. After careful consideration, I was sad to express my desire to leave the company. They explained to me that their hands were tied and they apologized for the change in direction that they were leaning toward.
