Old school, old ideas
Manager (Current Employee) –  Woodinville, WAMay 19, 2017
The management is not willing to change and move forward with fresh ideas. The old ways of doing things are not working and they don't want to look at new ways. There is little work life balance and the senior leadership doesn't seem to care about the morale of the employees but only the bottom line.

Great wine and concert venue - old school upper management
Manager (Current Employee) –  Woodinville, WAMarch 17, 2016
Ste. Michelle has a rich history and great products. Benefits are decent. Management is very top-down and co-workers are not collaborative. They run very lean and people are doing multiple jobs and struggle to find time for all of the initiatives.

Very male dominant, needs more diversity in leadership.
Pros
great discount on wine, beautiful location
Cons
top-down management, not a lot of collaboration and teamwork, easy to burn out

Learning about wine was fascinating.
Executive Assistant to SVP Marketing (Former Employee) –  Woodinville, WASeptember 17, 2015
This was a remarkable experience. How could you not love working at a winery? The setting was beautiful. The people were friendly, loved doing what they did, inter-acting with the public. Learnt something every day.

A very nice company to work for.
Sr. Winetracker (Current Employee) –  Paterson, WAFebruary 20, 2015
The people are great, but advancement is hard to come by. Benefits are very nice, but pay is lower than I would like. I would stay but I am looking for any opportunity to move to another part of the state.

Working in Production becomes tiresome due to the repetition of tasks performed. The pay is decent for the type of work being done.
Pros
4x10 work week with lots of OT possibilities

Minimal opportunity for advancement within company
